The monthsary, a Pinoy invention?
“Banal as it may seem, monthsaries are cause celebre for Pinoys. Because really, how else do you mark x months of togetherness? It is not to say that relationships nowadays only last for a few months, or a few weeks even, and that we are impatient to wait for anniversaries, the Pinoy’s desire to celebrate monthsaries, I think is a testament to the opposite.”
