He describes the place as the “squatter area of small shanty-houses constructed of loose boards and tin” across his campus but this is where Brian, an American missionary, found God in a basketball court:

“As I walked towards the gate I saw one of the guys and he looked at me, smiled, and made a dribbling motion with his hand. They had been waiting! Five minutes later 25 guys were filling the court playing or watching.”
