A 16 yr old tells us to stop bitching about the Philippines
Beena, a 16 year old college freshman tells us to stop bitching and start loving the Philippines:
…Yes, it is right to praise other countries. But no one has the right to despise his country and its flaws if he himself does not accept his flaws as part of that nation and if he himself does not admit his mistakes as a citizen of the country…
…It is foolish of a person to go on about the filthiness of our country when he himself either contributes to the filth or becomes idle like a useless object. I say, only one who sheds blood and sweat in an attempt to change our country for its betterment has the sole right to go on about our country’s imperfections for he has tried even if he has failed while the others have never even tried yet have already failed in the beginning.
