Philippines tops world-wide “love” poll
The freakonomics blog has given a little sneak peek into their findings of love and economic development based on a world-wide Gallup poll. Even with our low GDP, the Philippines, Rwanda and Puerto Rico are “interesting places to look for love” whereas there is little love in Armenia, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
The freakonomics team continues with: “It turns out that love is incredibly democratic, and is as common in poor countries as it is in rich countries. And, encouragingly, about 70 percent of us report feeling a lot of love on any given day.”
Woohoo!
